Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of khaledpastry.com and the Khaled Pastry app on Android and iPhone, including any purchase you make there. By creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Who we are

khaledpastry.com is operated by: WalyMart, an Egyptian limited liability company, Commercial Registry No. 3675 (Gamasa Investment Commercial Registry Office), Unified Registry No. 11090 09000 03675, Tax Registration No. 699-603-633, head office: Salah Salem St. and Dr. Abdel Azim Wazir St., opposite the Spinning and Weaving Factory, Damietta 1st District, Damietta City, Damietta. "Khaled Pastry" is a brand of this company. Throughout these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean WalyMart.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or use the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You must give accurate and complete information and update it when it changes.

3. Products, orders and prices

  • Product descriptions and photos are provided in good faith.
  • Prices are shown in Egyptian pounds and include Value Added Tax where applicable under Egyptian tax law.
  • An order is confirmed when you receive the order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order in cases such as unavailability, an obvious pricing error or suspected fraud; in that case we refund in full anything you paid.
  • Electronic invoices and receipts are issued through the Egyptian Tax Authority system where required.

4. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, which are:

  • online payment through Paymob
  • card payment through Geidea when it is shown at checkout
  • cash on delivery
  • bank transfer

Card details are entered on secure PCI-DSS-compliant payment pages, and we do not store full card numbers. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you choose.

5. Delivery

You can choose delivery or pickup from one of our branches. Delivery areas, fees and times are shown before you confirm the order. Because our products are fresh pastries, please be available to receive the order at the agreed time. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Please check your order when you receive it.

6. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Your rights to cancel, return and get a refund are set out in our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and follows the Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its executive regulations.

  • Cancellation: you can cancel an order before we start preparing it by contacting us. If you paid online, we refund the full amount to the same payment method.
  • Perishable products: our products are fresh food that spoils quickly, so we do not accept returns of sound products after delivery, or of products stored improperly after delivery. This follows the perishable-goods exception in the Consumer Protection Law.
  • Damaged or wrong products: if you receive a damaged or defective product, or one that differs from your order or is incomplete, tell us within 24 hours of receipt with a photo of the product and the order number. We replace it with a sound product at no cost, or refund its value by the same payment method within 7 days of approving the request.

Nothing above limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018.

7. Intellectual property

The Khaled Pastry name and logo, the website content are owned by WalyMart or its licensors and are protected by law. You receive no right in them except as needed to use the website as intended.

8. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, including by attempting unauthorised access, uploading unlawful or harmful content, infringing intellectual-property rights, collecting other users' data, or using the website for any unlawful purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud or gross negligence, or any right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Law.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the competent Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Consumers may also complain to the Consumer Protection Agency.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms from time to time and publish the updated version on this page with its "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the website after a change means you accept it. No change applies to an order we confirmed before it was published.
